There's a lot going on in the world, and a lot going on in the world of hemp, and what's happening in the world of hemp can very soon be reflecting on the world as a whole! Why? Because the plan to bring hemp products back to the market, is a plan to bring back a sense of pride in who we are and what we are doing here, on Earth; bringing back a sense of "belonging" to the "world" that we live on!
Common sense suggests that we have but one home....which we call Earth...and there is no other! It also suggest that this planet is not just a source for commodity extraction, nor is it a garbage dump for our waste! The other species that we share this planet with, were not placed here for the sole purpose of our consumption. Our respect for the Earth, our one and only home, has waned!
Shouldn't we learn from our mistakes, then chart a new path to do better, for both the people and the planet. Was 100 years of hemp prohibition a mistake? Was allowing plastic, non-compostable products to flourish and allowing corporations to extract any amount of Earth's resources with no environmental protection a mistake? Is our general loss of respect for Earth, due to corporate propaganda, a problem we need to fix? It has taken 75 years of corporate greed and propaganda to create our climate change, plastic pollution and mass extinction global crisis! It is the responsibility of each of us to make a change, and shift the paradigm!
Fortunately the shift is simple, at least in theory anyway. We purchase hemp products whenever possible to support this new emerging hemp industry and convince the government to bring back hemp as the main source material for manufacturing. Essentially, replace plastic products with hemp products. By promoting nature based solutions for our product requirements, we can learn, once again, to treat the Earth, and all it's beings, with respect!
