While it has become clear that our present capitalist, profit based economy, is unsustainable and the destruction of the natural world is rapidly accelerating, what is not quite so clear, is what to do about it. The capitalist system puts money, and the people who have it, in power. They use a lot of that money pushing propaganda ads to convince the rest of us that things are good....don't worry....the status quo, where they get richer and we all get poorer, is just the way it should be. But it is painfully clear that climate change is not ok: global mass extinction and plastic infiltrating all land and oceans, is absolutly not ok.  

But to actually stop the destruction, means that the system must change, and for the system to change, the power mongers are going to lose their power, which of course they don't want to do. So to look for governments or corporations to lead us out of this climate change and mass extiction crisis is like asking a fox to lead his clan out of a chicken coop! It just ain't gonna happen! 

The solution....as you might have already guessed, is biological. Rather than make products from non-compostable synthetic petroleum compounds like plastic and polyester, we need to return to bio-products made from natural materials such as hemp, bamboo, jute and sisal! By doing so, and by bringing back the circular bio-economy we enjoyed 100 years ago, we easily solve much of our global crisis. We will also support local economies because the supply chain for hemp products starts in a local farmers field. 

HEMPLife Magazine is your guide to becoming a part of the solution to pollution and climate change by ignoring the "Buy This Now" ads and purchasing products that you know are compostable! Mother Nature has been dealing with the recycling of our products since we jumped out of the trees and started walking upright. So all we really need to do is let her so her job by making the products from biological sourses, as we did for 1000's of years prior to the discovery of oil.
